Inmate Funds and Expenses |

| Inmate Funds (money for commissary) can be deposited in an inmate account at the Sheriff's Administrative Office, located at 321 M-62 North, Monday through Friday 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. Money can also be deposited during visitation times. Money may be sent via mail. Money Orders must be made payable to 'Cass County Office of Sheriff', with the Inmates name somewhere on the money order. We do not accept personal checks at any time. Commissary is offered twice weekly, allowing inmates to purchase clothing, hygiene items and snacks. Inmate Expenses - Once an Inmate is sentenced, they are charged $15 per day in addition to all medical expenses and a booking fee of $12. The Inmate will be allowed to participate in the commissary once all accrued expenses are paid. Arrangements for payment of debt can be made. In addition, the Community Corrections staff operates a work release program for eligible minimum security inmates. |
