Marine Patrol

Cass County Sheriff's Office operates a Marine Patrol Division.  The Marine Patrol uses a combination of boats and jet skis to patrol the lakes of Cass County. Marine Patrol Deputies enforce all marine laws.

The Marine Division also offers boater safety classes.

Reminder: Anyone born after July 1st 1996 is required to have a boater safety card to operate any vessel

2015 Boating Safety Classes

Students may pre-register by calling the Cass County Sheriff’s Office at (269) 445-1240. Please have the student’s legal name, address, phone number, and date of birth at the time of registration.  

All classes start at 8:00 am and should be done by 1:00 pm. Students are required to bring a #2 pencil. Adults are recommended to take the class.
